The University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Department of Art and Art History educates aspiring artists and art historians of various backgrounds to cultivate their talent and creativity and to develop scholarly analytical skills. For more than 80 years, a diverse and experienced faculty of studio instructors and art historians have helped student artists and scholars refine their creative ideas and prepare for graduate study.
The UNL Department of Art and Art History is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design.
