Sheldon Museum
With the Sheldon Museum of Art, students have access to a world-class art collection of nearly 13,000 pieces right on their campus.
Amidst the comprehensive collection — which includes prominent holdings of 19th-century landscape and still life, American impressionism, early modernism, geometric abstraction, abstract expressionism, pop, minimalism and contemporary art — students can take various art and art history classes right inside the galleries.
Beginning in 2025, the Hixson-Lied Visiting Artist Lecture Series, attracting famed artists from around the world, will take place in Sheldon’s auditorium.
