"Ugh! My Tummy Hurts Again" is a project aimed at raising awareness about Celiac Disease by offering a firsthand look into what it’s like to live with the condition. Diagnosed with Celiac Disease in my early twenties, I found the transition to a gluten-free lifestyle both overwhelming and complex. It’s not just about avoiding gluten in food, but also in medications, everyday products like craft supplies, toys such as Play-Doh, and, most crucially, preventing cross-contamination. Through this immersive experience, I hope to shed light on the daily realities of living with this condition. The project won a Gold ADDY Award at the 2023 National American Advertising Awards (ADDY).
